2020 Dart Tournament has been cancelled

In response to the rapidly changing circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, the WAMO Board of Directors has made the decision to cancel the 2020 State Dart Tournament. In doing so, the Board carefully weighed the risks to players, their families and spectators, and our volunteers. WAMO Leadership feels strongly that cancelling the tournament is the responsible action to take. The health and safety of everyone involved is the top priority.

Please know this has been an incredibly difficult decision for the Board of Directors. WAMO wants to thank Kalahari for being our partner throughout this process and for their shared commitment to the safety and well-being of our players and volunteers. Players who booked their rooms through the WAMO room block with Kalahari may cancel their room with NO penalty by canceling on the passkey link you booked your rooms through: https://book.passkey.com/e/49844180

Please be aware, the Kalahari notified us regarding a $30 penalty that will show up by default in their system when you go to cancel. Kalahari has assured us that the charge will drop off when your refund finishes processing. No one who cancels through the booking link will be charged a penalty.

To receive a refund of your entry fees, please contact the person you turned your entries into once the Governor has lifted the “Safer in Place” order. We appreciate your patience and understanding, as we adhere to the Governor’s non-essential business and social distancing policies.

This is a heartbreaking and disappointing time on so many different levels. The 2020 WAMO Dart Committee and Tournament Directors have spent hundreds of hours to plan for this tournament and were looking forward to welcoming you all to the Wisconsin Dells in May.

The 2021 State Dart Tournament will be at the all new Resch Expo in Green Bay, May 19 – 23.  For additional details, including lodging, please visit the Dart Tournament page found here.

Again, thank you for your patience and understanding as we all navigate these uncharted waters together. We hope to see you all in 2021!
